Domingo Espetacular report on a retired 58-year-old teacher in Minas Gerais who spent four years in an online romance with a supposed US agent named Richard, went as far as organising the wedding party and sent money for years, selling assets to meet her fiancé's requests. A digital crime forensic expert analyses the traces left in the relationship since 2018 and concludes that this is not one person but a structured scam, with accounts opened in the names of straw men and several people involved in moving the money. The production also establishes that the photo used by the fraudster belongs to a retired United States Air Force general, already exploited in hundreds of scams against women.
